Marsha Bishop was born in Dawson Creek, B.C. and lived in several British Columbia communities throughout her childhood. She moved with her parents to Nanaimo in 1988 and graduated from N.D.S.S. in 1991.
Marsha completed three years of undergraduate studies at Malaspina University College before entering U.B.C.’s Faculty of Law in 2004. For three years Marsha commuted weekly to Vancouver to attend law school until she graduated with her L.L.B. degree in 2007. Marsha was called to the British Columbia Bar on May 28, 2008 after completing her articling term with Johnston Franklin.
Marsha has two teen-aged daughters.
